Europapark Rust
Whether a croissant breakfast in France, a train ride from Russia to Spain or a delicious cappuccino on the Italian piazza.
With the Voletarium, you can embark on a breathtaking journey through Europe and experience a world sensation since 2017. In 2020, the entertainment park at the foot of the Black Forest celebrated its 45th birthday. The park was founded in 1975 by Franz Mack and his son Roland. By the World Association of the Leisure Industry Franz Mack is described as one of the “pioneers for the international success of leisure parks”. He developed the “Eurosat” roller coaster – the space “made in the Black Forest” – as well as the legendary high-speed roller coaster “Euro-Mir”. Until today, the Mack family is linked to Europa Park, both as manufacturer and operator.
With the opening, the mouse mascot was designed by a graphic artist from Burda publishing house, called “Euromaus”. In 2015, the first name "Ed" was added. The park mascot awaits you in the lobby.
In the Europa Park with its total area of 95 hectares, there are so many things to experience. An interactive park map helps you to keep an overview: Europa-Park & Rulantica App to accompany your visit. A special service for app users is the VirtualLine: the following attractions can be experienced virtually: "Arthur", "blue fireMegacoster", "Euro-Mir", "Eurosat-CanCan Coaster" and "WODAN".
Of course, swimming fun is not missing: Rulantica opened in 2021 - the largest outdoor water playground in Germany.
Driving fun is also guaranteed: a turbulent soapbox race with dinosaurs in “MadameFreudenreich Dino-Rennen VR”. In the Traumzeit-Dome, there are magical impressions for young and old.
Relaxation is also provided: „Hyggedal“ is a wellness oasis in the style of a Nordic forest landscape providing sunbeds, two large saunas and a fantastic outdoor terrace.
On the Europa Park website you can filter the attractions according to age and interests. The Europa Park is located directly in the border triangle Germany - France - Switzerland.
