Triberg waterfalls and the Black Forest museum
The city of Triberg should have Germany's highest waterfalls. A spectacle that you must have experienced. Triberg is called the gateway to the SouthernBlack Forest Nature Park! Triberg waterfalls
With a height of more than 160m, the Triberger Waterfalls are among the highest and most famous waterfalls in Germany. Watch from a platform as the water of the Gutach roaring down into the valley. Or you hike the waterfalls on the paths. From two wooden bridges you will have the best view to the foaming falls. This is an impressive natural spectacle that attracts countless visitors every year. Hint: The water falls are illuminated in the night. There are five different entrances to the waterfalls: from the city centre directly on the B500, from Bergsee, at Scheffelplatz, at Adelheid and behind the Asklepios Clinic.
Black Forest museum
The Black Forest Museum, built in 1936, is highly recommended. There you can experience the cultural and economic life of the Black Forest on about 1600 square meters, according to the motto of the city: see – hear – marvel! Buy the Triberg Inclusive Card and get free entrance to the Black Forest Museum and two other leisure facilities. Last but not least, it should be mentioned that Triberg has the title "Heilklimatischer Kurort".
